On the 17th June, women of the YMCA went to HAWK for a day working in a traditionally male role! We started off doing First Aid. Some of the residents had a go on the 25 tonne dumper truck… …whilst others played basketball with a forklift truck!
YMCA Crewe were delighted to receive a donation of £25,000 from the Swansway Group at the Crewe Pledge Celebration. These funds will be used to support the YMCA Talentscape programme.

Young people welcomed Dr Adrian Heald to the YMCA this week and gave him the guided tour. Dr Heald chatted with Leif on the Car Mechanics course, as well as Marie, Tweets and Ash, and had lunch in the WhistleStop Café.
The guys on Ern’s Hard as Nailz course have worked with one of our neighbours to pave the space in front of their house. A great community, a great project.
