Last Month, we were honored to welcome Rob Polkinghorne, CEO of Cheshire East Council, to YMCA Crewe!
During his visit, Rob had the opportunity to meet with our CEO, Mark Hills, and engage with one of our remarkable young individuals, Leo Borowski, who serves as a YMCA England & Wales Youth Ambassador.
Leo shared his inspiring journey with Rob, from being a resident to becoming a Youth Ambassador, highlighting the invaluable support he received during his time at YMCA Crewe. Leo’s dedication to giving back was evident as he discussed his volunteering role at the GLO Cafe, demonstrating the impact of our programs on empowering young people.
Rob Polkinghorne expressed his keen interest in collaborating with organizations like ours that make a difference in the lives of young individuals across Cheshire East.
