The YMCA Crewe Board of Trustees will be starting 2023 with a new Chair.
Sam Ward has been a Trustee since 2020 and Vice Chair from 2021, and she will be continuing the great work of our outgoing Chair, Joanne Turley.
Sam is Deputy CEO of the Royal Voluntary Service and has recently been awarded an OBE for her services to charity. We are honoured to have her continuing to support our work, and are excited to see the next phase of leadership and influence.
Sam said “The services run by YMCA Crewe are so important for the local community. I’m looking forward to working on our new strategy with the other Trustees and staff, I’m sure that 2023 will bring exciting opportunities”
