On Wednesday 2nd December, staff from YMCA Crewe attended the second ‘Breaking the Mould’ Awards at Keele University, where our social media team had been nominated for a Social Inclusion award.
And we won!
This award recognises and celebrates the hard work we have put into building our profile on social media over the last few months, giving us the opportunity to connect with more members of our local community, on a platform people are increasing more confident communicating through.
Our CEO Mark Hills says:
“It was a privilege to attend the online Keele University Breaking the Mould Awards. It was then a great surprise to hear our social media team had won the Social Inclusion Award. Since the summer, YMCA Crewe has recruited two students from Keele University who have reviewed, adapted and increased our social media presence and reach. As a Charity serving the local community of Crewe it is important to share the work we have been doing and reach out to the community to highlight what we want to do for the people of Crewe. My congratulations to Lisa, Serkan and Keeley”
We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Keele University judging panel, and we look forward to continuing to build a relationship with the University’s staff, students and alumni.
Over the next few months, we will be reviewing other areas of our communication, including our website, and we’d really welcome feedback from our supporters to make sure our changes work for you. Do you have any suggestions? Please get in touch at admin@ymcacrewe.org.uk.
