We are thrilled to announce that on April 21, 2024, our very own Mark Thompson will be participating in the prestigious TCS London Marathon 2024 Event. Mark is running to raise crucial funds for YMCA Crewe, aiming to provide more accommodation and support to positively impact lives and brighten futures in our community.
The TCS London Marathon stands as the world’s most renowned marathon, with over one million individuals having completed the event since its inaugural run in 1981. The entire course will be brimming with spectators, cheering participants on every stride of the way, creating a unique atmosphere and an unforgettable experience for all involved.
Mark’s dedication to this cause embodies the spirit of community and compassion that YMCA Crewe stands for. By supporting Mark in his endeavor, you’re not just endorsing a runner; you’re contributing to a mission that changes lives and uplifts our community.
Can’t make it to London on 21st April? Join YMCA Crewe’s virtual marathon! Complete 26.2 miles alone, or as a team, in one go, or over multiple runs (or walks) between 1st – 30th April and help to tackle and prevent homelessness in our community.
