We had a great time at our GLO Awards last week when we celebrated the amazing work and progression of residents over the last six months. A packed room listened to Adam Deering tell us how he went from being expelled from school with no qualifications to owning businesses with a turnover of £20 million.
Hundreds of families have been along to our Family Fun Days on Derby Docks over the summer. The community came together to play parachute games and giant Jenga, enjoy arts, crafts and hot dogs – and even have some beauty treatments! The police organised matches on the inflatable football pitch and Wavemaker did amazing 3D printing…
On Fridays, residents and staff all get together in the Community Cafe to enjoy a meal together – we are fortunate to have some really talented chefs at the YMCA!
