YMCA Crewe is a well-established charity, providing accommodation for people who have experienced homelessness. We have a 62 bed supported accommodation project in Gresty Road and other flats and houses in the area. We have a growing number of After School Clubs and parenting groups.
We are looking for a Maintenance Officer to join our Property Services and Social Enterprise Team. This is a full time role, working 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday, however we would consider flexible working or offering part time roles. The salary is £9.66 per hour.
The post holder will deliver a range of quality services to letting agents, private landlords and tenants of YMCA Crewe. This will include general handyman services, grounds maintenance, house clearance and building flat pack furniture. The ability to do basic joinery, plumbing, painting and decorating work, and being able to work with power tools and take on any kind of general maintenance work will be essential.
