We have an exciting opportunity for a Barista who not only loves making great coffee, but is keen to work with residents at YMCA Crewe who volunteer in the café, as they gain experience to enable them to find work in the hospitality sector.

YMCA Crewe is a well-established charity, providing accommodation for people who have experienced homelessness. We have a 62 bed supported accommodation project in Gresty Road and other flats and houses in the area. We have a growing number of After School Clubs and parenting groups.

We are opening a new Café at our site at Gresty Road; we will serve a variety of speciality beverages, fresh sandwiches and hot food to the public and people using our Conference rooms.

The Barista will be part of a small team; we have a Catering Coach who manages the café and there will be two YMCA residents volunteering in the café.

YMCA Crewe is committed to the active promotion of equal opportunity, both in the provision of services, as an employer and as a provider of volunteering positions.

YMCA Crewe is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
